DAY CAMPS
Bring the camp experience to your home congregation through Good Earth Village’s Day Camp ministry. This program is intended to bring camp to your community and to provide your congregation with a vibrant, enriching ministry partnership.
Our Day Camp program sends a team of well trained staff members who bring their energy and enthusiasm, along with, songs, crafts, games, Bible studies, and meaningful worship experiences right to your church. We will work with you to develop a program that best fits the needs of your congregation.

online CHURCH REGISTRATIONS
The GEV Day Camp Registration Form will go live Friday, February 2, 2024. Please contact us with any inquiries or questions. Day Camps will be scheduled in the order of received registrations. An email will be sent within 1-2 business days after your registration is received to confirm your Day Camp week. Available weeks and spaces are listed below. Please be prepared to offer your first and second choices of available weeks.

Day Camp is open to youth completing Kindergarten – 5th grade, entering 1st - 6th grades.
PRICES
$250 non-refundable deposit due with contract
$78 per camper with a minimum 25 campers
$300 each additional GEV staff over a team of (3) people - based on availability
GOOD EARTH VILLAGE STAFF
Day Camp teams consist of at least three staff members. Additional staff can be provided if needed based on camper numbers and availability.
SCHEDULE
Day Camp will be offered during the weeks listed above.
A standard Day Camp runs Monday through Thursday. Sunday evenings allow space for GEV Staff to arrive and churches to have a volunteer meeting or a special evening activity.
Day Camp hours Monday through Thursday 9:00am - 3:00pm
This schedule can be customized to meet the needs of your church.
Responsibilities of Good Earth Village
Well trained and excited Good Earth Village staff
One staff for every 10 campers completing grades K-5 (entering grades 1-6)
Guarantee of three Good Earth Village staff
All program materials needed for Bible study, worship, morning arts and crafts, and games
Join an orientation for congregational volunteers on the Sunday prior to the beginning of Day Camp
Clarify expectations and roles, go over the week’s schedule, and make sure everyone is prepared
Lead a daily evaluation and preparation session with the volunteers and staff
Transportation to and from the congregation for Good Earth Village staff only
Be in communication with the Congregational Day Camp Coordinator to prepare and organize Day Camp
Responsibilities of the Congregation
Congregational Day Camp Coordinator who will be the main contact person
Supervision for preschool aged children, GEV staff are not responsible for this age group
Housing and meals the entire week for GEV staff
Insurance on campers and volunteers, liability and secondary health insurance
A completed registration and health form for each camper signed by a parent or guardian
Final camper numbers provided to GEV two weeks prior to the session start date
Copies of registration forms or a spreadsheet to GEV for all campers
Select afternoon activities and provide any supplies or materials
Transportation and costs for any optional activities such as parks or a swimming pool
Daily: Morning and noon drink, snack, and lunch for each camper or request a sack lunch be brought

The purpose of Good Earth Village Day Camp is to provide a partnership between your congregation and GEV to create a unique, powerful ministry for children and youth. We want to work with your congregation to teach young people about God’s love and grace, modeling a Christ-like life, and the importance of their church family. Your church and the GEV Day Camp team work together to provide a fun and rewarding week!
